Why we have Lvl Minimums on our KF servers - markg - 02-28-2011
Here is an unsolicited email from a frequent user of our kf servers that shows the reason for our perk minimums (which are Lvl4+ for Hard, lvl5+ for Suicide, Lvl6 for HOE). Some people gripe about them being set too high, but they can always play somewhere else:
Hey Folks;
I play your server for KF hard/long on a fairly regular basis. Lately I've noticed that your requirements for level to play is being ignored. Many gamers play your server to avoid babysitting new guys. It's kinda nice to have a place to go that requires a somewhat advanced knowledge and ability of gameplay to participate. Since the Christmas event, all kinds of lvl 0 - lvl 3 players have been attempting to stay alive and steal other players weapons. I have seen admin patrolling your servers in the past but recently they have been absent. Yet, I still see the messages stating required rank to play there. Is the rank requirement still in effect? Can we get some help in here
