Killing Floor Reserved Slots - markg - 04-22-2011 we have had some questions about how the reserved slot function works on the killing floor servers. generally, you get to pick one of several options, none of which give you exactly what you want. the selections are limited by the game: [attachment=60] Right now it is set to expand limit [of players] when a NBS member joins. Trouble is, with more than the 6 player max, it will stop giving perks until it gets back to 6 or less players. The setting we used to use was kick newest player (last connected) because we thought that would be fair, but sometimes that person was the last one alive late in the game (like wave 10) and it understandably upset the players. Yes i know the clan has priority, but no use alienating the player base by doing this continually, so we changed the method. Unfortunately each method has its flaws; score/minute almost always kicks medics for example. Any suggestions to change it again are welcome (to one of the selections above), this is just meant to be an update on what we are currently doing. |
