TF2 server issues - markg - 09-17-2009
There is a plugin that keeps crashing the server. Not sure which one it is, just started with the latest series of updates, so it could be just about anything. i had to update sourcemod along with a bunch of other things.
so i removed several to try to narrow down which one/s are causing the trouble. in the meantime, if the server crashes it needs a hard reset, so pm me if you see that its dead (since i may not notice it right away).
for now the removed plugins affect vent autoconnect, teamswitch, alltalk manager (for 3 or less), team balancer (for switch immunity) and afk manager (to not kick you for being afk for a while).
i've been adding them one at a time, but i now suspect there is an interaction between a couple of them. the two i suspect the most are the team balancer and alltalk manager, but who knows, since it doesnt happen right away.
my plan for now; leave it the way it is for about a week, to make sure the platform is stable, then install one at a time to see what happens. but it could also be sourcemod, and there is no good way to fix that until another update. in the meantime, some of the normal admin functions may not work as intended. but most should, so it should be ok.
