Line 1: Unban
Line 2: STEAM_0:0:10287353
Line 3: NBSclan.net |KF III| Suicidal/LvL5+ ONLY
Line 4: Around 2:00 AM central, May 22
Line 5: I was suddenly banned for, as far as I can tell, no reason at all. I didn't receive any warning or anything. It was probably because I was level 4 in a level 5+ server, but that wasn't my fault, I joined during trader time and couldn't change my perk. If that was the reason, the admin could have at least told me to change my perk, or even kicked me, but a permaban? Come on.

so whos fault was it?

as far as warnings: The server name says Lvl5 ONLY, the server REMINDS you in game its Lvl 5 ONLY. How many more 'warnings' do you require?

just so you know, we dont have time to be in the servers 24/7, so when we jump in, we permaban anyone breaking the rules, period. We dont have time to warn and then wait until the wave is over to see if you comply. If you dont like this, pay for your own servers and run them the way YOU want. But this is the way we run ours.

Following the rules is all on you. So if you intend on following them WITHOUT warnings, let us know and i will unban.

Whoa, hey, no need to get hostile. It was nobody's "fault." As I said, if I were ABLE to follow the rules, then I most certainly would have. I joined during trader time and was automatically a level 4 perk, and the option to change perks was grayed out. What was I supposed to do? If I knew about the server's one-strike permaban policy then I would have left, especially if someone had asked me to.

ok, so if i understand it, since it is 'nobody's fault' you want the admin to warn you, then wait until the end of the wave to see if you change lvls? is that right?

what about the guy who joins the following wave? same thing? so now the admin has to stay another wave to see if that guy complies? where does this end?

we have 5 kf servers, and servers on 11 other games. this isnt our full time job, and we dont have time to coddle people that just dont get it.

so, zero tolerance is the only practical method to police the servers, and thats the way we do it.

what were you supposed to do? follow the rules. you figure out how. most everyone else does.

What is there to figure out? I thought I explained the issue pretty clearly. Honestly, I had no idea you would be so reluctant to unban me. I obviously have every intention of following the rules. It's not like I was griefing or hacking. I just don't feel like I should have been permabanned over a simple error that I had no control over. I have other level 6 perks that I would have chosen if I could.

the formula for unban is simple; i screwed up, im sorry, it WONT happen again. you keep saying it wasnt your fault, you had no control, etc. So how do we know it wont happen again?

i gave you several opportunities to get it, but you apparently still dont. this thread is done.
