Im Tired
#1
im getting tired of this clan stuff.

we have a couple groups of people playing single games, and not really participating with anyone else.

the forums have become a wasteland, with no one really active much.

and I don't have the energy to turn it around. I have other stuff im more interested in.

and to be blunt, no one is really contributing anything, not even effort to keep the clan going.

What im going to do: for now, im going to leave the game servers up since between the donations and the new ad system they are close to paying for themselves. but I think im going to turn off the teamspeak server until we do a proper reset.

any comments?

[edit] I just checked; with one exception, none of our clan members have even logged into the forums in over a year. Stay tuned for the reset, coming soon.

I definitely can understand where you're coming from I really do. Your complaint is legitimate and your means of a wake up call to all who use TS3 has been very affective. I got onto Steam tonight and was bombarded from four different people who were asking me what was going on. All I can say is going forward I will do better to donate to help keep TS3 up, as well as rallying up people to do so as well. There is no such thing as a free lunch and I for one have definitely overlooked just how much I and many others have been using TS3 without helping to pay the bill. I will say that I really do appreciate TS3, I just got done playing Dota 2 and not having a private channel to talk in absolutely sucked. So I for one can say that I and about a dozen other people have received your wake up call.

Thanks for the understanding.

I wanted to wait a couple days to respond to see if there were any other comments. What I found was that no one even read my posts except you. So I think this is done.

until I get time to reinvent

in the meantime im just going to use teamspeak for myself and my friends to play games among ourselves. I enabled your account to allow you to join if you like, assuming you like any of the games we are playing at the time.

Hey,

I am new to NBS and have not been on the forums very long. I have also never been on the TS, but I have been on the TF2 server for a little while now. (I would have been around more, but I was in Australia for the last 6 months studying abroad.) I am on the outskirts of this situation, but was in the process of trying to get more active and was going to eventually try and become part of the clan. I was wondering why there haven't been any NBS on the TF2 server, and I guess this answers that question. I would still like to get more involved though and was wondering what the reset would be and how to be more involved when it was happening.

Also, I tried joining the TS with the pw nbs32 and wasn't able to. Do I need to apply for access?

Thanks,
Eric

there are a couple of us that are pretty active on the tf2 servers in the evening (California time)

I changed the pw a couple days ago, but I just changed it back so you should be able to connect now. I forgot because once you are registered in ts, you don't need the pw any more...

after you posted this I observed a couple things:

  1. no one is reading these posts to see what is happening, attachment (below) as proof
  2. no one else asked what was going on
  3. you dropped out shortly after posting this

This is all on me, since i haven't had the time to properly manage this the last year or so. But I also learned that once something is malfunctioning, hit the reset button cause it never gets better on its own.

take two coming shortly
