Interesting Diagnostic Tool for Gaming
#1
i stumbled upon a tool that was meant to showcase an add in NIC card (ethernet controller) that is also quite helpful in diagnosting whats going on with your computer during gaming.

it shows history of fps, ping (both icmp and udp; udp is what is used in games and the only one we really care about for this), cpu load, and averages of the above. you can save an entire game's worth of this data history, then review it second by second to see what is happening/causing you the lag spikes everyone experiences; is it the server, the cpu, the internet connection, etc.

note it also shows udp offload which in our case will be zero since we dont have their card that performs this function.
