i finally decided it was time to take donations for the servers, since the cost is getting a bit out of hand.
i set up a link called "Donations to Game Server" that links to this page:

Donating to this page ensures the money goes ONLY to the servers, and cant be used for anything else.
Anyone who donates will get some nice benefits, including a reserved slot and end round immunity on tf2! we will also be making some admin spots available on the various servers, with donations being a prerequesite. And if we get enough donations, i will put up a few more servers, depending on what the donators play.
and note we now can take paypal, so no excuses about not having a credit card!
