How to Request or Protest a Ban
#1
Is this request for a Steam game? (Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 1, Left 4 Dead 2, Counterstrike Source, Alien Swarm) If so you are in the wrong place.

For non Steam games (Killing Floor) start a new thread with the following Information:

Title: Player Name (not 'can i get unbanned' or any such innane thing like that. OF COURSE you want to be unbanned or you wouldn't be posting here.)

Message:
line 1: what you are requesting (Ban/Unban/?)
line 2: Steam ID (Steam ID format is STEAM_0:X:XXXXXX. If a ban request, go to your friends list/add a friend/view users you recently played with/profile of the offender, then copy/paste the profile url.)
line 3: Server Name (be exact else i cant check the logs, as we run multiple servers)
line 4: Time of incident (I will check the logs at least +- 10 minutes from your claimed time)
line 5: Description of what happened/reason for request
  • If requesting a ban, be specific. Include what the player was doing that was wrong. The reason can be as simple as Wallhack, Aimbot, Griefer, etc.
Videos/Demos are a big help to prove your case.
  • If appealing a ban, simply state that and the reason the ban should be lifted. Include why you were banned, and why you would like to be unbanned. If you dont tell me why you were banned (whether you agree with it or not), and sound repentant, you will stay banned. If you claim you dont know why you were banned, dont be surprised if your request is ignored.

note; if you decide not give us all the information requested above, in the format listed, your request will be ignored. I dont have time for Easter egg hunts.
